What a Real Deep Clean Does
This Is What Your Home Has Been Waiting For
A deep clean isn’t just a longer version of your regular visit. It’s a thorough, room-by-room reset that gets into the areas routine cleaning never touches: ceiling fans, light fixtures, door frames, baseboards, switch plates, lampshades and more. If your home has been through a busy season, a long stretch without professional cleaning, or you’re just ready to start fresh, a deep clean is where that starts.
At Divine Shine, our certified professional crews bring the same luxury touch to every deep clean that’s earned us 200+ five-star reviews across the Twin Cities. We follow detailed checklists so nothing gets missed, and we treat your home with the same care we’d want someone bringing into ours. Eight years in, that standard hasn’t moved.

A lot of cleaning companies are only as good as whoever shows up that day. At Divine Shine, every crew member is a certified cleaning professional, trained in a room-by-room process that covers exactly what your property requires: high-touch surfaces, detail areas, the corners that prove we're paying attention. Plus our industry leading, NDA-backed client agreement, ensures you can feel comfortable and confident week after week. That consistency is what earns you a home that feels genuinely cared for, and keeps us coming back.
Get An Instant QuoteWhat's the difference between a deep clean and a regular cleaning?
A regular clean maintains the surfaces that get dirty week to week: floors, counters, bathrooms and general dusting. A deep clean adds everything a routine visit doesn’t reach. Ceiling fans wiped down wet. Light fixtures, vents and exhaust fans cleaned. Doors, door frames, switch plates and baseboards scrubbed. Lampshades and tops of curtains addressed. It takes noticeably longer, and that’s intentional. The extra time is going into the work that makes the real difference.
When should I get a deep cleaning?
The most common times are spring cleaning, before hosting holidays or guests, before listing your home for sale, and as a first visit before starting a recurring plan. It’s also just the right call any time it’s been a while since your home got a genuinely thorough clean. If you’re not sure whether you need a deep clean or a regular visit, reach out and we’ll help you figure it out.
Do I need to be home during the deep clean?
Not at all. Many of our Twin Cities clients prefer to hand us a key or entry code and come home to a finished clean. We handle entry securely, follow a clear protocol for access, and send you an update when the crew arrives and again when the job is done.
Does a deep clean include the inside of my appliances?
Inside appliances (oven, refrigerator, cabinets) are specialty add-ons rather than standard deep clean items. If you want those included, just let us know when you request your quote and we’ll build them into your plan. They’re worth it, especially if you’re prepping for guests or getting ready to list your home.
Do your cleaning crews bring their own supplies?
Yes. Our certified crews arrive with professional-grade products and equipment. You don’t need to have anything on hand. If you have preferences around specific products, whether for allergies, pets or personal preference, just let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
